Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 21, 2026 · Jurisdiction: Republic of Korea (PIPA)

1. Overview

Bridgr ("we", "us", "our") operates the Bridgr service (currently hosted at trybridgr.com). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of the Republic of Korea. By using Bridgr, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following personal information when you create an account: • Email address — used to identify your account • Display name or nickname — provided by your social login provider (Google or Kakao) • OAuth provider identifier — to link your account to your social login We do NOT collect payment card details directly. Payments are handled by Stripe, which operates under its own privacy policy. Free and Basic plan text is processed in real time and never stored on our servers. Pro plan rewrites are saved privately to your account to power your rewrite history feature. When using the Bridgr Chrome browser extension: • Your authentication session token is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage (chrome.storage.local). This data stays on your device and is only transmitted to authenticate requests to trybridgr.com. • Text you submit via the extension popup or right-click context menu is processed through the same API as the web app, under the same data retention rules described above. • A lightweight script runs on trybridgr.com pages when you are logged in, solely to sync your login session to the extension.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information solely for: • Creating and managing your Bridgr account • Tracking your usage (rewrite count) relative to your subscription plan • Sending transactional emails such as login links • Responding to support requests We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

4. Third-Party Services

We share limited personal data with the following trusted third parties as necessary to operate the service: • Supabase (authentication and database) — stores your email and display name • Stripe (payments) — processes subscription billing; we share your email to create a billing record • Anthropic (AI processing) — text you submit for rewriting is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate results. Anthropic does not store your text or use it to train AI models. • Google, Kakao — provide your profile data when you sign in via social login; their own privacy policies apply Each third party is contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the stated purpose.

5. Data Retention

Your account information is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal information will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

6. Your Rights

Under PIPA, you have the right to: • Access the personal information we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate information • Request deletion of your account and associated data • Withdraw consent to data processing at any time To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@trybridgr.com. We will respond within 10 business days.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Bridgr is not directed to children under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
